Nu har Rugby Ready fået selskab af Tackle Ready. Begge programmer er en del af World Rugby Passport og tilgås her.
Formålet med Tackle Ready er at minimere risikoen for skader til hovedet. Materialet henvender sig til alle trænere (og spillere), uanset spillernes alder og niveau.
Materialet er bygget op om 5 områder: tracking, preparation, connection, acceleration and finish.

“The tackle is fundamental to the fabric of the game, but it is also fundamental to welfare and performance and not enough time is spent on the basics. This resource, the first of its kind, is a step-by-step guide and has been developed for all levels of the game. Whether you are a coach or a player there will be information and methodology within the programme that is applicable to the age group and level you coach or play at. The challenge as a coach is we must make sure our players are more accurate in this area going forward and Tackle Ready will help improve tackle technique to make coaches better practitioners and to promote safer, more effective tackles that are beneficial to performance.”
